I'm not sure from the fluff, if it is an omnimech, than it's good configuration for city-fighting. If it's separate design variant than the XL engine should be removed. The SRMs combined with the lasers provide the 1B with good anti-mech firepower and crit. seeking ability, while the MGs can make short work with the infantry. It's weapons mix makes it ideal partner for hard-hitters like the Hunchback. |

Eh, its okay. I'm not so sold on it. But, I can see its expensive charm glittering on the street corner.
Even ambush combat requires you to have some ranged weaponry. Heck the Panther does it with a PPC. Well I suppose the ER Mediums do yeoman's duty there but its not exactly a perfect science the ambush is.
In close its potent and reminds me of the Crusader esque type missile volley at close range. |

A more specialised version of a general use mech. Well suited from its intended job.
Methinks it can also do well on the field to guard fire support elements from close in assaults. |

Just as good as the original. The Streaks and lasers will do a lot of damage, with the machine guns for a little punch or dealing with infantry. Once the armor's gone, the Streaks will be very effective in scoring crits (yay for ammo explosions). City fighters don't get much better. My only quarrel is the jump jets; I'd drop an mg for that last jet. |

Nice urban upgrade, I can see this taking down even Assaults by sneaking up behind them and alpha striking. The assault might get back up, but a second alpha to the back would probably put it out for good with a downed gyro or engine. |
