Not a bad design yet its primary weapon, the HGR lacks ammunition to make it effective for long campaigns, the same problem rings true of its LRMs. Once the ammo is exhausted it likely will have trouble kepping the line in a firefight.

Hmm... there is quite durable chassis. With heavy armor and standard engine you can survive for quite some time, but that's all.

Weapons are somewhat strange. For long range there are LRMs that lack ammo to provide reliable cover, PPC that is a little short ranged for 3067 era to be useful in long range firefight and HGR that is usually reserved for better damage at short range (sixteen rounds allow few wasted shots, but still...), so you need someone to cover you. At short range you have that HGR (scary, but many mechs of this size can match that) and MPLs, not much. The hatchet may add to minotaur image of brutal fighter, but it isn't too hard to avoid it,because the mech is quite slow and I can't see the reason for someone to want to get close to this.

Maybe as an ambusher, but otherwise I would take something else.

This mech has potential but Wanallo seem to flaw it on purpose. With DHS, the Minotaur can actually mount an ERPPC instead of a normal PPC which easily removes the lack of long ranged firepower.

However, for some reason, i feel that the HGR should not be considered a "budget" weapon.

Overall, this design is fair but can be alot more promising.

This has a fair amount of weapons. It is a bit vulnerable to sniping since it has limited long range fire when the LRM and Gauss run out. It will do a lot of damage up to that point though.
