A PPC and a crit seeker on four speedy legs. And it´s damned good looking. Your bad heat dissipation capability and thin armor requires hit´n run tactics to survive. Pound two big holes into your opponent and then pepper him with SRM´s while cooling down.

This quad has some potential as a scout hunter and pursuit machine, but with it's armor the hunter may become the hunted, so be sure that the pursued unit is damaged enough or that it doesn't lead you to an ambush. Scorpion's mobility can get it out of hot spots, but it may still find itself outgunned and without armor in the matter of seconds (rounds), because most locations can't withstand more than two medium laser hits. Keep that in mind and don't let the enemy to catch you easily, SCP parts may not be easy to obtain.

Fluff's got it right.
THis is the Mech you call to hunt scouts mechs.
It also makes a good flanker and pursuit mech.
However, the armour's really really thin and you'll have to watch where you're going.

The Scorpion gets my vote because its just so fun to use a Quad in combat.
Drop the SRM 6 to a 4 and strap on another ton of armour and send it to hunt scout mechs. Better yet, send it to harass opposing lances because you'll almost always be able to fire that PPC at someone.
Its the perfect harasser mech because almost all medium and light mechs will lose against it on a regular basis. Just remember you are a skirmisher and keep the range modifiers up against the enemies.

Never been a big fan of the Scorpion, but it is still a good design. The armor isn't the greatest, but most fast PPC carriers lack armor. The Scorpion is best used against those pesky lights that nobody heavy enough can keep up with. The srms make a good back up close in weapon in case one of those lights tries to close. Unless they can get behind, they will learn a quick lesson on how much damage all those missle can make to a small frame.
