Overview:
    The Banshee has long been maligned for its anemic firepower, but House Steiner?s 3S model
    began to change that opinion several decades ago. It was for this reason that the Hanseatic
    League procured the design schematics for this version of the BattleMech, and began building
    their own on Falsterbo. When Clan Goliath Scorpion conquered their realm, they began to
    review what could be done to improved the peoples they now ruled, and found much potential
    in this 95 ton Behemoth. Determined to improve on the design, the BNC-3S-C was born.

Capabilities:
    Knowing they wanted to make a truly formidable BattleMech, but yet one that would be
    somewhat familiar to any new conscripts possibly brought into their touman, Scorpion
    scientists made a conscious decision to keep the firepower similar to what was already
    present. Therefore, the PPC?s and medium lasers were simply replaced with extended range
    versions, and the small lasers were upgraded to pulse models. The type 10 autocannon and
    it?s ammunition were replaced with a Gauss rifle fed by 3 tons of ammunition, and the
    short-range missile rack was upgraded with streak technology. Even with 17 double heat sinks
    though, pilots must be careful to moderate their use of this firepower.
    
    At 95 tons, this new Banshee would not be able to break any speed records, but even so, the
    Scorpion engineers knew they could improve on the BNC-3S?s top speed of 54 kph. Fitting a
    massive, but relatively light XL engine to the frame improved the design?s ground mobility
    by one-third. And defensively, the design was also improved with the use of more armor plate
    and a switch to clan-spec ferro-fibrous plate, maximizing the amount of armor the frame
    could hold. Additionally, armoring the cockpit and each hip actuator provides additional
    protection should any damage get through this armored shell.

Deployment:
    Having only recently begun production on this new model, very few Banshee-3S-C?s have been
    seen on any battlefield. Despite this, the Scorpion Empire is quite sure any future enemies
    it may have will come to fear the appearance of these formidable BattleMechs on the field of
    combat opposite their own forces.
