Okay. I was going to design a mech called the Valiant(med/lighter heavy) so I decided to look to make sure I was not doing anything too redundant. I found this machine. I would have to agree with the earlier reveiw by Blackhand. While one can appreciate what the designer may be trying to do, there are better ways to do it. This mech is seriously under powered, sort of like a 100 ton Rifleman. Maybe replace the cannons with a PPC and some LRMS with a few heatsinks thrown in. Or upgrade one of them to an AC/10 and use the difference in weigth to add somejump jets. Just my two c-bills worth. all in all, not the most impressive. |

The long range firepower is not too impressive (lasers are aren't real long rage weapons, not even in succession wars era), but short range guns are only a little better. This mech probably tries to overcome the opposition through durability, rather than firepower. I think that the mech is reliable workhorse, not much more. |

I like the mix of long range and short range weapons on this mech. It does overheat quite a bit when up close, but the larges lasers are not needed at short range inorder to do a decent amount of damage. I prefer the Atlas that this is meant to compete with, but this mech would make a good partner in crime with an Atlas. This would make an interesting dueling mech in the 3025 universe. |

Okay, take the name of a light mech, the weapons from a Jagermech, and the armour of the assault class.
Now is anyone as confused as me? I'd be happier with better ranged weapons and some SRM 4s instead of the SRM 6s.
Sures its got thick armour but a Thug or Awesome is going to rip you apart.
