Now this is a good panther upgrade. The added speed makes it much more likely to be able to avoid fights that are bad for it while the ER PPC can fire without problems. If your side has a spotter for you then really accurate fire from the panther behind is a tremendous boon. Awesome upgrade. The original Panther was not this good by a long shot. Take it every time.
Although to be honest to make it a little better the Streak system should go back to standard and add a jump jet and throw in an ER small laser or something. That is way too much ammo for a Streak launcher on a light mech. But still a great upgrade. |

Faster than original and well armored too. New armor may create problems with maintenance and raises the cost a little, but I think it's worth the money invested in. C3 also improves the accuracy and helps it to use the PPC effectively. |

I like.
It improves on the original design in every way possible.
It's a little faster (though jump remains unchanged), it has a thicker hide and its weapons bite a little harder.
(On a personal note i think it can hand my 9K2 its head...).
Nice job bladewind. Good fluff too. |

This upgrade kind of looks funky to me. My Panther PNT-9K is almost the same but you managed to add a little speed that will be only negligable in this case.
The Panther's best move is mugging in a city for that you need full jump.
The C3 slave is nice but in this case who are you going to spot for. Either your going to go down to 4/6/4 to stay with the C3 Master or your going to never get to use it.
Its kind of an interesting idea. |

Increasing the armour load is good and adding double heat sinks is a significant help but it is still lacking in the speed department. with the ER PPC it can make a good sniper and the steak quad will help when it gets overrun and it will as it is still too slow |
