Excellent scout for its era, speedy and packed with latest technologies (cost reflects that). Avoid any sort of prolonged combat. With those weapons and armor (not mentioning XL engine) you'll be smashed. First PPC hit to side torso may start problems with heat or send you running home. |

A nice recon unit for open areas. Decent armor, good electronics package, great speed, and two Medium lasers, all add up to one useful mech. It is kinda of pricey however but then again so are many other mechs of this stature. I also like the idea that when you reach 3059? you can easily switch the Meds for ER's. |

I'm not seeing it really accomplishing what your saying. Steiner has the money. Liao and Combine are strapped. Davion might, and FWL might, after that your left with smaller groups who will have other uses for that 300 class XL engine.
I kind of wonder about the missing hand actuator. That is about the only question the fluff doesn't answer.
Speed is the answer but at the same time you can't sacrifice everything for it. The XL engine makes it a show piece and top notch unit type thing. At least the 300 class engine is widely used and thus might have spare parts around even in 3050.
I'm also leary of anything that moves this fast with MASC. One bad roll and you have a fire ball as this thing just guts it self on a series of damage rolls.
With all the top notch tech on it, it mounts standard lasers and heat sinks, which is almost interesting. Makes it part of the 3039 cross over. Which means nobody will have it designed in time for 3050 well maybe. Still its not a good mech.
You can acheieve either greater speeds or better (read safer) elint packages with other mechs. Sometimes at the same price, most of the time at a cheaper on though.
I like the fluff which pulls it up a bit on the ratings. Usually I like my TAG on mechs that overheat a bit, as it gives you an excuse to do soemthing much more dangerous than firing a weapon. |

Great speed, good armor, and an excellent electronics package make this a great scout. The MASC is an added bonus. The weapons are light for it's size but with it's speed, it hardly needs it. |

Not bad it has a nice electronics load and good speed. The weapon load out is adequate for self-defense though the armour is a tad light though the ECM suite does offset that to a degree this would be useful as a target designator and deep recon unit though I would be hesitant to put it into a major brawl |
