Slow for its size the armour is decent but the uncased ammo is a definate danger. It can make a passable fire support mech but it is somewhat light for that role. The weapon load is poor for use as a city fighter and its lack of speed could spell trouble on an open battle field. A mech of limited value. |

Even if the design adds a lot of firepower, the speed is too low. In Succession wars the Valkyrie was good fire support for Davion light lances, but now this speed is more adequate for militia mechs, not for front line light mechs that usually receive XL engines. The mech may perform well, but I think it won't replace most older models, maybe as a companion to heavy units, but those will probably take something with higher durability. |
