As I read this mech's readout, I kept looking for the main gun. I never found it. This relies totally on short ranged weapons- it's got a maximum range of 9! It has a lot of crit-seekers and armor sanders, but doesn't have a knockout punch that will scare anything bigger than itself. It certainly doesn't have the speed to corner anything it can kill in one round.
I both like and dislike the arms- it can punch and fire everything and lose an arm without losing a weapon. It also loses the flexible firing arcs, which combined with mediocre speed can leave a nasty blind spot behind it.
This might make a good companion to a Hunchback, but I can't see it being very effective on its own. |

The mech isn't well suited for any environment and ES-4C is superior to it in almost all aspects (except accuracy). Weapons are too short-ranged for open terrain, the speed and lack of jump jets doesn't allow it to deploy them effectively when needed and with all guns in torso it will probably have problems with enemies flanking it. Armor is one of the few positives found. |
