Overview:
    Huaman Chung, an athletically gifted and intelligent young mechwarrior, inherited a BobCat
    prototype and its design plans from his grandfather, Luke Chung, while he was a teenager.
    Luke Chung was a genius 'Mech technician and engineer for several mercenary companies
    serving the Free Worlds league.  There are currently only four prototypes of this 'Mech in
    existence.  Huaman has donated a copy of the plans to the FWLM at Princefield Military
    Academy in hope that the FWLM will seek mass production and integration into its forces.
    The FWLM is showing more interest into the Zephyr, however, so the BobCat is not likely to
    see mass production within the Free Worlds League.  Huaman is content with this because his
    grandfather has designed that 'Mech as well.

Capabilities:
    Essentially a quadruped version of the Zephyr, which itself is essentially an up-gunned
    spider, it trades two of six medium lasers and a heat sink for a single ER medium laser and
    an additional half-ton of armor.  The MASC system, like with the Zephyr, allows the BobCat
    to temporarily run with the fastest locusts (and out-run the rest), and the jump jets allow
    the BobCat to grossly out-maneuver them in rougher terrain as well.  Locusts, Spiders, and
    Tarantulas are no match for the BobCat.  Its combat purposes is deep-penetrating recon and
    scouting, and is also quite capable of hit-and-run harassment.  The BobCat's is very easy to
    pilot and its cockpit is very comfortable compared most other standard Inner Sphere
    BattleMech cockpits, as it is built for extended recon missions.  Huaman's BobCat's
    NeuroHelmet is unique in that it weighs two-thirds that of normal neurohelmets and doesn't
    cover the face, but otherwise operates as a normal neurohelmet.  The Quad chassis
    configuration and recon equipment make the BobCat exceptional for mid-jump aerial
    photography and videoagraphy.

Deployment:
    There are only four prototype units of the BobCat in existence.  Huaman is in possession of
    one of them, one was captured by the Capellans, and the other two were purchased by ComStar.
    ComStar is currently reverse engineering one of the two prototypes that they purchased.
    They are unaware that Huaman possesses complete design schematics.  The status of the
    prototype captured by the Capellans is unknown, as it wasn't captured intact (XL Engine
    blown out of left torso, two legs missing, sensors damaged).
