Solid variant with good fluff reasoning as to why the design is the way it is. I like this vairant better than the 3E and I think makes this machine originally was supposed to be, a super heavy brawler with some ranged firepower. It is clearly not a 3S, which is a true assault Mech in every sense of the word; but it is what the fluff said, a cheaper alternate to the 3E. |

This 'Mech is something that I would send with my other heavies like Orions to melt and crush the opposition directly, rather than attempting to snipe from afar or placing it as a protector for long range support units. The large lasers are equal in terms of firepower with the PPC and AC on 3E, but their range is inferior to these weapons. That is somewhat outweighted by the lack of minimal range and the additonal firepower of the SRMs. Nothing special here, but the BNC-3K is still an interesting mod. |

I like it. I tend to be a close range brawler myself, so this version really appeals to me. lower the ammo dependency, and I am all over this one. Course, I have always liked the underdog and the Banshee has always been a personal favorite for this reason. Good job. |

Interesting redesign. I'm not sure I agree with the idea of making the Banshee a close-range brawler though. The PPC and AC/5 combo has better range and will probably generate more damage over the long run, although the Banshee's fists are good enough for close combat. Still, version does have the advantage of being less ammunition dependent.
I'm also not certain why the fluff is peppered with exclamation points in inappropriate places, although this is a minor quibble. |
