Good speed and mobility mated with full armor and quite a heavy punch.
It has a fine heat dissipation rate too, though a full jump can build up some heat. The range of the PPC is enough for 2750 but models produced after 3050 can easily be upgraded with an ER model. |

Gah this is powerful...and can probably gun down 'mechs 20 tons heavier than it is with a good pilot at the controls.
I'd go ahead and give it an ER PPC though. With all the jumping around this 'mech is going to do, the extra range will help to offset the high movement modifiers. Another possibility would be replacing the PPC with an ER Large Laser, and using the extra weight to upgrade two of the medium lasers to pulse lasers. |

A Phoenix Hawk's big brother. Long range firepower isn't that great, but the battery of medium lasers can prove to be more than enough for 'Mechs of similar size. The XL engine is hardly a problem, because the enhanced mobility and heavy armour, which can keep the machine safe for quite some time. Heat is rarely a problem... well, I can't see any catch in this design (maybe the cost would be an exception). It would be a good machine for beginners, but I'd avoid using this too often, because it's quite powerful. |
