Very dangerous against vehicles and previously damaged mechs but still it has to choose its prey carefully!
The ammo bins are somewhat small but it can´t afford to stay at short ranges longer than 10 turns because it would be crushed till then anyway.
The small laser is more for the pilots peace of mind as being a real weapon. |

Awesome design. As others have remarked, combining std rounds with inferno's will make an opponent very uncomfortable. Great vehicle hunter. Great to send in after other units have softened up units.
The ammo gets expended comfortably fast enough. Much like SRM carriers, these Raptors deserve to get some attention, but you can expect them to last longer. |

This mech is above average for a scout. Give it a ton of infernos and watch your opponent blow any ammo it has.
Its a nasty design to go hunting enemy support/boomer units. As the infernos can force heat way past safe limits.
This variant could find a place in a scout lance if money wasn't an option. |

This would be a nice vehicle hunter, but I think it's best use would be as a "clean-up" 'mech. Keep this baby out of the main action, but once you've got the enemy hurt and on the run, come pour some salt on his wounds with 18 critical hit seeking SRMs. If he's running hot pour on a few inferno loads as well.
With an XL engine though this 'mech is a bit expensive for a fast SRM carrier. |

Good Gawd. If you want to force a mech to use up its AMS, drop this guy into action. The poor sap youre shooting at can either blow his AMS ammo right away, or get chewed up by 18 SRMs. Either way, hes going to have to make a tough desicion. The ammo will let this mech deal out some punishment for awhile, but then this thing had better be moving back to friendly lines. Or Else. |
