The Hankyu is a solid all-rounder; it will do well as a scout or harasser. Like all good scouts it can outrun anything it can't kill. Against opponents of it's own weight the LRMs give it the luxury of thinning the armor before you are forced to fall back on the lasers. The armor is very thin though; don't try to tangle with a Puma, as a single heavy weapons hit can shear off a leg. The jump jets will help you stay out of trouble though. It is somewhat vulnerable to unarmored infantry, because of the lack of machine guns, but the flamer and supurb electronics package covers this deficiency adequately. If you use this 'mech for the job it was designed for it should treat you well. |

This is usually the lynchpin of a recon star. The LRMs are light, but can provide good fire support against light mechs. The flamer will keep unarmored infantry at bay, while the lasers let the mech deal direct damage. This mech could be very dangerous in a city, again, with other S variant mechs as part of the star. |

The high speed and jump jets are good but it needs more armour the ECM helps that out to a degree.The weapon loadout and electronic packagr make this a good scout mech. |
