A straight forward LRM boat. Good at delivering LRM´s on target and bad in anything else.
Use this only in company scale battles and higher because this needs protection all the time to not get toasted by combat mechs or speedy pests! |

Ugh, Okay its a great design until someone closes. At which point you have no guns that can hit them. 3 LRM 5s and 2 tons of ammo with 3 Medium Lasers mixed in would have worked instead.
My biggest complaint in 3058+ is that a lot of OMNI configurations seem to exist rather than be effective and work. Which troubles me, as it has always felt that most of the designs in 2750, 3025, and 3050 books worked. We get to 3055+ and all of a sudden most things blow chunks. |

The weapons load is reminiscent of a Whitworth. If you know you have the speed advantage, go ahead and use this, but if something closes with this 'mech it's probably going to die quickly. |

Decent for fast (read quick to die) missile support. While a mech this size usually doesnt carry big missile racks, this mod will catch someone by surprise. Once people figure out what this mech is packing, theyre going to drag race to get inside the missile envelope as fast as possible.
This mech sorely lacks close in weapons. Heck, even a small laser would be an improvement.
As is, this thing needs to kill its target at long range, because it lacks the speed to keep fast mechs at arms length and barrage them with missiles. |
