Good sniper, but I would drop the LRM-10 for a ER Large laser. At least you got something for a knife fight and that extra 3 tons (usually adding extra Gauss ammo and maybe lasers or ECM) is up to your creativity ideas.
Some players advocate the ERPPC for true long range sniping and an extra ton of Gauss ammo in placed of the LRM-10 and its ammo. The small laser remains but without explosive ammo, CASE isn't really an issue.
Basically the basic config is sound, just need some modding here and there. Good thing that omnis can be repodded but still remain fluff faithful. |

The gauß rifle and LRM will work fine in a C3 network so you can stay right back and support your comrades. With an XL closecombat isn´t a good idea anyway.
A CASE instead of that small laser would be much better not to keep the mech running after an ammo hit but to salvage that not so cheap piece of military hardware! |

A nice C3 sniper. The LRMs combined with the gauss give this a very good long range profile. And the Artemis is nice; you shouldn't have LRMs without Artems if you can help it. Again, the small should be an ER small. I'd recommend pulling it completely for CASE and moving the LRM ammo, but I don't remember if you can add CASE to an IS Omni. Besides, the XL means that CASE isn't very helpful. |

Drop the small laser to CASE the missile ammo, and stick this boy into a C3 company. Perfect for indirect fire with the LRMs or a more direct beating with the gauss rifle. Keep an eye on your ammo though, and dot go hog-wild with your fireworks, or youre going to be pulling the triggers on empty weapons real fast. And that is a Bad Thing. |
