The D configuration has brutal firepower, no ammo to worry about and enough heat sinks to keep the pressure for a long time. You have to have some firediscipline though. The small laser is nothing but a space filler here.

The knife fighter variant of the BJ2-O. Apparently at least someone was thinking when he podded this variant. Very well thought out, this BJ2-O cleverly avoids ER weapons so as to avoid excessive over heating but still retain a savage damage curve.
With a good pilot and someone who can ride the heat, there is no reason not to bring this baby ! Only bad news is the lack of real ranged armament but that is no issue. Park him beside some of those 3058 Gauss boats and wait for the enemy come close, you know they will come. |

This just barely has enough heat sinks for its weapons. You can fire the lasers and PPC together, but you can't move without overheat. Still, you shouldn't be running this comfig if you're afraid of overheat. The medium lasers and pulse lasers are a nice close in punch. At close range (greater than 3) you can run and hit with the mediums and PPC, or the mediums and a large with full jump.
And whenever you like, you can go all out, and you'll inflict some impressive damage. Just give yourself time to cool off before doing it again. Overall, this is the best of the Blackjack's configs. |

At least it doesn't need CASE like the rest of the class. I like this sort of 'mech. It's good for a long slug-fest, although the XL engine could easily give out before you shoot all of the guns off of this 'mech.
The layers of lasers let you be pretty flexible heat-wise, and you still can crank out a solid amount of damage even after you have two or three of them shot out. |

A nice try as an energy mech, this omni really needs more heat sinks. Im not sure that the 10 DHS are going to cut it when youre laying down some righteous fire in the middle of a shoot out. Dropping the two medium lasers for two more DHS will improve the heat profile. And get rid of that bleeping small aser. |
