This like a friggin mini- 3025 Atlas. It has 2 big long range beamers to cover its approach and a whole slew of smaller ones for the backup. The UAC-20 is just the can-opener this monster needs.
Even without double fire, just 1 AC-20 shot will be enough to send mediums and smaller heavies surrying for cover. If the double shot connects, even an assault will be hard press to withstand that after being worked over by the lasers.
The MGs and the flamer are alittle bit of a joke but these will utterly neuter any sort of infantry swarms. Dropping the mg ammo to half ton and getting 2 more MGs will double the mech's anti-personal ability as well as crit seeking.
The armor is light, but the immense firepower and above average speed more than compensates. |

Wow. An awesome configuration, with no weaknesses. Oh, sure, there's some tweaking that could be done with the MGs and flamer (and the full ton of MG ammo), but that's mostly personal preference. As always, I have my hesitations about the Ultra, but the thing will be awesome when it works right. And the other weapons support it perfectly. Barring engine hits, this is extremely heat efficient, and still with the ability to push its heat for a good shot.
The only annoyance here is the Cauldron-Born's light armor, but this config should splatter most enemies before that becomes a factor. |

This is a really battler, much better than the POS prime variant. The weapons are very concise, with the UAC and pulse lasers packing the close ranged punch while the Lrg ER's snipe away. It seems to be able to stand allot of punishment even though it has less armour than other mechs in its class. So very aptly named. |

A classically designed 'mech; this one takes a lot of the heat doctrine of 3025 and uses it in level two battletech to great effect. Actually firing all of those guns at once is tantamount to suicide, but the ranges of nicely layered, allowing the pilot to turn the ER Lasers offline when the 'mech gets to close range, and bring the UAC/20 into play. The medium lasers give you a good shot at getting a lot of critical hits once that autocannon starts opening up big holes in your enemy's armor. |

Now heres a mech that will leave a big friggin bruise. The beam weapons are more than adequate by themselves, but the UAC clinches the deal. The DHS arent up to snuff, though. Pulling the MGs, ammo, and flamer and replacing them with DHS will give this mech a little more staying power in heavy firefights. |
