The longrange weapons let this configuration lead its lance from behind without being out of action.
The standard PPC doesn´t have the range of an ER PPC but runs much cooler. The UAC is a nice support but gets through that 20 shots pretty soon.
The medium lasers are a capable point defense. |

C3 Master, and the Master of that role. I've yet to see a Heavy Mech pull off carrying a C3 Master any better than this. It has firepower. It has range on its weapons to stand off and protect the vital part of the C3 system yet still do damage... with benefit from said system. |

A nice config for a C3 lance leader. The PPC, Ultra AC, and LRMs are all pretty long ranged. Stay at the fuzzy edge of your range and let someone else spot for you, then bombard them from range. The medium lasers are a good back up, but watch out for fast 'Mechs; all the heavy weapons here have min ranges. Lightish armor and the XL leave this somewhat vulnerable to a dedicated sniper, like a Marauder or Warhammer. |

A nice keystone for a C3 company. The PPC-AC-LRM combo gives this design solid long-range firepower, though it is a bit of an ammo addict. If you get the AC firing at full speed you'll run out of ammunition in ten rounds. |

Heres something neat. A C3 command mech that isnt configured as a barrage mech. With a good weapons mix, this mech can get in to a fight, roll up its sleeves, and start kicking ass. The PPC is a good choice over the ER model, and as long as the dice rolls hold out, the UAC can deal as much damage as a standard AC 10. A good choice for any kind of C3 lance or company. |
