Damn. In a city fight, this is going to be your ultimate "No Trespassing" sign.
The flamers and MG make this a nightmare for unarmored infantry, even dug in infantry can be burned out and killed. Nevermind the A-pods strapped to the legs.
The active probe will come in handy against the Inner Sphere trick of hiding shut down mechs inside buildings.
The pulse lasers are pulse lasers. Close range, and deadly.
Then you have the LB-20X. The cannon of Unholy Beatings. With enough ammo to be used at will, and with either type of ammo, this weapon will kill light and medium mechs in two shots or les, and heavy and assault mechs will have to keep their distance.
Using cluster amuniton will decimate infantry, armored or not, and vehicles will be shredded. |

Time to die, Spheroid. This is simply superb. Only customs and the Daishi S can match this as an urban 'Mech, and only because the Daishi S runs cooler. Flamers, MGs, and A-pods will deal easily with any infantry, and the LBX will slaughter 'Mechs. The pulse lasers and streaks give it nice accuracy, and the lasers give it something to fight with when the ammo's gone. I'd drop half a ton of MG ammo for 2 more MGs. And get that ammo out of the CT; put an MG there or something. |

Very specialized, but in a city there is pretty much nothing more dangerous than a Turkina C. Lots of LBX ammo allows the autocannon to be used as a battering ram when need be. The Jump Jets are invaluable in a city as well. Of course, in open countryside I wouldn't take this design in most cases, although it would be dangerous in heavily wooded terrain. |
