I hate the plinker gun AC/2s, but this isn't actually a "bad" design either. As someone else pointed out, when paired with another Dire Wolf config, in my case an A, they can wreck untold havoc with crits among their enemies. I do have problems with the distribution of equipment, it could be so much better. But all in all a solid crit seeking long range plinker.

For it's BV cost this is a deadly mech ! Can't miss those head chopping blows from Clan ERPPCs. The Ultras are a little light but it wreaks havoc on vehicles and it causes crits galore, same for the LB-10X.

Despite other reviews i have found this dude suprisingly effective. After all, not ALL assault variants should be able to take on a company of atlas's. Thats the point of Omni's. Pair it up with a Prime or A and it kicks butt.
The UAC's play havoc on lighter mechs, vehicles, infantry and crit seeking on larger mechs. While the PPCs pack the punch and the LBX10 keeps sand papering away armour.
A real mech to keep with another assault (preferebly another Daishi) where it can take advantage of the holes made by its friend or by clearing away annoying vehicles and VTOLs to keep its friends attention fixed on the larger enemy.

The JagerMech from hell. This is much weaker than the other Dire Wolf variants. It's good for long range support fire, but there are better machines for this role.
The AC/2s are fine, really. The problem here is placement, ammo, and heat efficiency. This has Warhawk-like overheat, with lots of ammo weapons. Not a good combination. There's too much in the left arm; spread between the two arms. While the LB10-X has a reasonable ammo supply, the Ultra 2s will only last a bit more than half as long. A reasonably good idea, but poorly executed.
To fix this 'Mech, (if you care to try) I recommend pulling the LB10-X completely, and replacing it with a pair of pulse lasers, two more tons of AC/2 ammo, and heat sinks.

Two big problems here:
1) Not enough heat sinks.
2) 4 AC/2s wasting lots of valuable space.
