Overview:
    The MAD-51R is a Hybrid inner-sphere design combining Star-league and Clan technology. First
    fielded by Clan Wolverine shortly after the formation of the Clans. All were assumed
    destroyed after that Clans "annihilation" but recent sightings as well as other similar Clan
    Wolverine specific designs breeds doubt into it ( and their) extinction

Capabilities:
    If the capabilities of the reports on this Mech are to be believed, This design,
    if it exists, is frightening beyond belief. The Capabilities of the Original
    Marauder and even the upgraded Marauder II pale into almost insignificance
    compared to this weapon. As a matter of fact if the capabilities are true this
    design could take on a full lance of either with a good chance of destroying
    them all.
    
    The reports of paired ER PPC's and Medium lasers are standard to the original
    design. But the replacement of the old AC/5 or LBX 10 ( on the Marauder II) has
    been taken a step further by the addition of a Gauss rifle in place of the
    auto-cannons and even more frightening is the rumor that there is also other
    heavy laser weapons packed in. Altho how firing everything and avoiding heart
    shutdown immediately is a mystery, it seems that those who do meet this ( if it
    exists) are no longer among the living...

Deployment:
    This mechs only documented deployment was  while fighting a holding and retreat during the
    Clan Wolverine annihilation.

Variants:
    The only suspected variant is the swapping of the gauss rifle for a heavy ( Ultra or LBX)
    auto-cannon...
    This would make it hotter but even more devastating than it
    already is at shorter ranges.
    Another potential variant is swapping the two PPC's for two Lg Pulse lasers or eliminating
    the two med. pulse and Lg Lasers in favor of two more PPC's

Notable MechWarriors:
    The most notable is the mysterious commander of the 504 Brigade of the 82
    Division on Io. That is the commander Lt. Col D. Wilde.
