Overview:
    The Warhammer is a legendary machine, one that has been the chosen ride of many of the best
    pilots the Inner Sphere has ever seen. The Hellbringer, one of the harbingers of the wrath
    of the Jade Falcons during the early days of the Clan Invasion. It was only natural someone
    would eventually try to merge the two together into a terrifying new omnimech. As such, the
    Nidhogg (designed as Vidofnir for the Inner Sphere market) was born, ready to wade into the
    32nd century.
    
    The Nidhogg was the brainchild of the collaboration between the new Falcons, D&K Creation
    Studios, and a certain four mercenary companies. Designed as a reliable, cost effective
    omnimech that could pack one hell of a punch, the Nidhogg uses elements from both the
    Hellbringer and Warhammer for ease of repair. Keeping to a very simple construction it uses
    only using endo steel as a weight saving measure, with 11.5 tons of ferro-fibrous armor
    provide maximum protection for its size. While it may not be the fastest 'Mech on the field,
    moving at a stable 64 km/h, its reliability coupled with 32 pods of open space ensure it has
    a very good niche as an anchor on the battlefield.

Capabilities:
    The DK variant, created by some very... interesting engineers of D&K Cretion Studios, was
    created with one simple goal in mind. Make a really stupid visual pun involving what is
    essentially an omnimech Warhammer while still making it a genuine threat at all ranges, as
    well as giving everyone in the Sphere a quite cursed sight of a Warhammer with hands. The
    way they did this was as simple as it was smart. To start off with, the DK variant mounts
    four jump jets to allow for greater battlefield mobility. The longest ranged weapon
    compliment are a pair of clan-spec extended large lasers mounted in the side torsos, backed
    up by two medium pulse lasers of clan spec, as well as two small x-pulse lasers to deter
    infantry. To keep the heat load of these weapons in check, four more double heat sinks are
    mounted in the machine to struggle to keep it heat neutral. But the real star of the show as
    well as the thing this entire design conciet is based around are the twin claws the machine
    mounts, capable of dealing massive damamge should the rugged machine get within melee range.
