Make it four Streak 2s, and 3 ER Mediums. Then it becomes something that will be useful.
As it stands, I'd give a stock IS Jenner 70-30 odds on taking this upgrade. Sure its faster and jumps farther, but its not really got much more going for it. |

Another example of the Clans taking a good thing and trying to get too much from it. The double heat sinks would allow for lasers to be fired even more regularly than the IS Jenner. Too much without enough room. |

This mech is similar to the Arctic Wolf in several respects. The number of SRMs means alot of hits, mostly by sheer chance in the case of the 6-packs. The Streaks will let the mech place more rounds on target, though. Another ammo addict who goes to meetings. Still, the addition of a laser or two would let this mech lay down some kind of covering fire, when it needs to find an ammo dump. |

I call this 'mech the Shotgun. A hit with a full spread of missiles from this 'mech does decent damage, and provides excellent chances for critical hits, and could also force knockdown rolls. The excellent speed compensates ably for the lackluster armor, but do not use this 'mech alone. Pair it with something carrying guns capable of punching big gaping holes in an enemy's armor, and then use the Jenner to pour salt into the open wounds. Sure, it is not honorable, but anybody in a Jenner IIC is already second-line anyway, so forget about honor and rack up the kills.
The SRM-6 launchers could be stripped for two Streak SRM-4s and one ton of ammo. This would provide better damage and ammo conservation. |

Are you sure that this design deserves the maximum rating of 5 ?
Even as i am a big fan of the Jenner, i dont like this design.
Ammo combined with a XL Engine in a light 'Mech with weak armor is never a good idea.
Especially the 2 SRM6 in the arms should be replaced with 4 ER medium Lasers as soon as possible. |
