A good post Clan invasion medium design. The weapon loadout is fine, but we can drop that AC-10 for a LB-10x. Stripping the MGs would be more beneficial as I can pad on the armor. And this guy needs the rear torso armor badly. |

I like the Bushwacker and use it quite often, although I prefer the BSW-S2 variant which swaps the two LRMs for two SRM 4s, in addition to replacing the a/c with an LB-X autocannon. I really like it because of its versitility and speed, and I usually use it like a safety in football, where it just kind of hangs back and then helps any other mech that needs it. In this role I think it works great and is especially useful when fighting a clan opponent. |

I like this mech and i have used it to good effect despite its flaws.
It has good speed, heat dissipation capability and firepower at all ranges.
I think the Davions took that AC/10 because of their special ammo but with only 10 shots you can´t make much use of it as you can carry only one type of ammo into battle!
A LB10-X would have been of more use because it could carry 20 shots with two different ammo types. |

This isn't a bad design, but it is lacking in several areas. The Autocannon 10 needs to be upped to a LB-10X, and the machine guns need to be scrapped for ammo for the LB-10X or armour. Overall a good medium design, a little work will make this thing a beast. |

Good idea, but for a mech designed to go toe to toe against the clans its only average.
I'm not sure who would want this unless you liked kissing your superiors ass. Looks like the guy who designed the rear armour on the Enforcer got the call on this mech too.
I suppose some Davion mech designers are on the same variety of crack. Drop the Machine Guns for some ammo or armour or DHS depending on what you view as most important.
And steal a LB-X 10 while your at it guys and gals. |
