A versatile but costly medium line mech that has serious firepower at all ranges. Especially the LRM-20 / ER large laser combination is a real threat for advancing enemies.
The decision to incorporate only one CASE for the SRM ammo seems to be a bit odd but the LRM and that AMS go through their ammo real fast.
Replacing the AMS and its ammo by an artemis for the LRM is a really good idea but instead of putting the remaining half ton onto the armor (which is maxed anyway!) i would prefer another CASE to save this prescious piece of battlefield technology from total destruction in case of an ammo hit in the right torso! |

Loosing the AMS for Artemis will make your LRM-20 barrage a hell lot more accurate and the 0.5 tons can be used to top up the armor.
The single medium pulse is an oddity, i would personally prefer 2 medium lasers instead. |

A very good fire support machine. Loose the AMS though, and add some more LRM ammo or, better yet, an Artemis module. |

Pull out the AMS and add the missing ingredient to this spectacular mech. Comstar has figured out how to build a combat mech now.
But it needs a little more in close support, maybe an ER medium and a half ton of armour for the AMS gear.
Its still a pretty spectacular design to have in your unit though. |

Comstar did a good job, almost too good. This mech can chip in in just about any range, but cant truly excel at any of them. The LRM 20 looks good, and is nicely backed by the ER large. Good, but not great.
The SRMs and pulse laser are very good at close up fighting, but fall short, somehow. To me, this mech seems to be on the verge of being 'damn good' but just cant quite crest the last hill to get there. |
