This mech combines strong, ammo-less firepower at all ranges with full armor and a good speed plus JJ´s.
For such a laserheavy design it runs surprisingly cool too.
So whats wrong? The XL is saving 7.5 tons and so is justifiable even if its not a superfast design. |

A good mech for guerilla fights, or lightning raids. Its got the speed to avoid heavier elements and give, albeit brief, chase to lighter targets.
The jump capacity is fair, letting this mech move about quickly in city fights, or other close terrain.
The weapons load really makes this mech a good raider. A totally beam weapon load frees this mech from supply lines and ammo explosions. Repeated alpha strikes, though, will eventually force this mech to shut down. Using the weapons at their intended ranges is the best way to manage heat on this mech.
The XL engine could be the Achilles Heel of this mech. Granted the torsos are armord against most small and mid-caliber weapons, repeated hits will eventually hull the torsos, leaving the engine very very exposed. Switching to Ferro Fibrous armor and beefing up the torso protection would help this mech. |

This could be very dangerous as a raider. Since it carries an XL engine it probably should avoid getting down and dirty, which is a shame as it's weapons can put a real hurt on somebody. |

Rear area raiding is a good speciality and all, but the XL engine means it might become an expensive lawn orniment too fast to really be an effective raider. |

A great independent unit. It can fight as part of a team but, it's strength is in it's ability to go behind enemy lines and do major damage without resupply being an issue. |
