It has excellent overlapping firepower means that it can really put the hurt at all ranges.
Another excellent bracket fighter. The A/C 5 might be the odd ball in this otherwise all energy config, but its a nice complement to the PPC while generating only 1 heat. Even then the mech is not too reliant on the AC-5.
It has plenty of guns left even when ammo is gone. |

A good assault mech with serious firepower at different ranges, respectable armor and good speed.
The weapons tend to overtax the heatsinks quite easily but with some firediscipline its able to keep the pressure on! |

For 3025 I can't think of a better assault for a campaign thats going to run long and far from ammo depots.
Its also got the armour to take a pounding and let it dish out its weapons for rounds on end.
Still like most assaults its out of date by 3050. So remember its time sensitive. |

A well rounded assault mech with some heat issues, use it as a support mech because in the heat of a brawl it will glow red.
The AC adds a nice amount of firepower which augments the main weapons nicely. Just make sure you manage the heat. Water is esspecially nice to this mech. |

This is a very nice assault Battlemech, with very nice long-range firepower, but which does not sacrifice the ability to defend itself in a brawl. It will tend to overheat, even with fifteen heat sinks, but if the pilot relies on salvo firing most of the time the heat should remain manageable, barring engine damage. If you can park this 'mech in some good cover at medium range; you should be able to get away with firing the PPC, Large Laser, and AC/5 every other round. On the cooling rounds, cut the Large Laser, and the heat will drop back down to zero so long as the 'mech remains stationary. . |
