Well, not very clanlike, but certainly a nasty piece of work. Zellbrigen is thrown out the window the moment this thing steps onto the field, so dueling isn't an issue, but opponents will go to great lengths to drop this mech if they can. It's no accident that the rear armor is almost as thick as the front.
No Naga configuration can defend itself; it's useless to even try. The few weapons it does carry are mere tokens- if you need to use them you should already be retreating. If it's anywhere near the main battle, it will need guards in order to survive.
Extremely fragile and more expensive than even a Timber Wolf, this omni isn't useful very often. It makes up for this in the few battles where it can be used to full effect.

As a mech, its a nice model. The artillery is a nice addition to any large scale force. Particularly as mention for taking down dropships or large buildings.
However, logistically its a mess. Why take out a mech for a job a vehicle can do for a quarter of the price? Simply. manouverability. It can do more than a vehicle can. especially in tough terrain.
But its rooted close to supply lines and unless the commander shows great restraint in getting it behind enemy lines to bomb a special target its not much different to vehicles.
Also, people playing by Clan rules of engagement would struggle in a duel. However by this time clanners have thrown rules out of the window with the IS. |

Lets get something with a real secondary weapon system. Clan honour system means this mech is meat as it has no way to beat a mech in a duel.
Although taking out drop ships can be managed with a star of these things. |

This is good for what it is, but I prefer vehicle mounts for artillery. It's a lot cheaper and frees a 'mech chassis up for front line duty. |

A dedicated artillery mech, this thng really isnt built for close battles. The pulse lasers are more for peace of mind than any kind of fighting. However, when playing on a biiiig field, go ahead and get a couple of these bad boys. If nothing else, your enemy is going to have fits trying to dodge your battle units and the incoming Arrow IV rounds. |
