Certainly not the nastiest assault among the Clanners but it totally absurb in the crit seeker role. If you actually want to use this of course.

Well, I guess I am different because I like this mech. This does one thing and one thing only. It snipes for crits from long range. When properly deployed it does not do massive damage like most assault do, but it does a great job of crit seeking for those lucky hits. I like using those UA2s when people give me partial cover. 2 points does not punch through a head but it can slowly drive a pilot into a coma. :-) |

This mech is almost a contradiction. The weapons are fairly light, though there are alot of them. The MGs dont have much punch, but again, theres quite a few of them. As a light fire support mech, the tonnage is too high. As a heavy fire support mech, the weaponry is too light. THis mech just doesnt make much sense. |

Certainly the strangest of the official 100 tonners out there. The UAC/2s simply don't offer enough punch. In the field most Clan heavy, and even some medium, mechs will beat this design. The wide availibility of ER Large Lasers and very light Clan LRM launchers also means the UAC/2 doesn't enjoy any particular range advantage. |
