For more than 1,000 years, man has been building machines whose soul purpose is to go
faster, run harder, and be quicker than the person next to them. The Inner Sphere is no
different. While on ancient Terra, Formula One was seen as the peak of auto engineering and
rocket cars the peak of insanity. In the present day, Solaris 7 has the W Racer series
which recently replaced the X Racer series as the top combination of those both.
Capabilities:
While not the rocket cars of old, the W Racer takes the extreme hovercraft of the X Racer
series and marries their extreme speed with the hull form of a WiGE vehicle to form the
ultimate in no aircraft racing. This allows some racing vehicles to reach speeds of 496.8
kph on lengthy straight a ways. Little more than a thin frame and skin around a military
grade engine, the W Racer is one of the most extreme vehicles an insane person get behind

Deployment:
Their are currently two circuits on Solaris 7 that field the W Racer: the standard and
extreme circuits. The standard's regulation limit vehicles in size and require the use of
